Ashland Cabin in the woods!

Nice cabin

We stayed at this cozy log house just outside Ashland and really enjoyed it. The location is ideal—close to the slopes for skiing and just a short drive into town, yet surrounded by rugged natural beauty that gives the place a peaceful, tucked-away feel. The house itself has clearly been updated with care. The furniture is new and comfortable, and there are thoughtful touches throughout that make it feel welcoming without being overdone. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and the brand-new sauna was a great way to unwind after a day outside. Beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. The views from the house—mostly trees and open sky—added to the sense of a retreat. The host was easy to communicate with and made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, it’s a well-kept, comfortable place in a beautiful setting. We’d definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting our son in northern California. The house is huge and spotlessly clean and outfitted with everything need to make your stay comfortable. Since right down the road from Mt. Ashland this would be a remarkable place to base a ski vacation.
